WHEN DO I NEED TO CALL AN EMERGENCY PLUMBER?
Sometimes its hard to work out what constitutes a plumbing emergency and what can wait until the following day. Unfortunately emergency plumbing problems occur when you least expect them and can happen at anytime day or night therefore it is handy to know what to do.
Lets have a look at some plumbing emergencies that might occur.
Gas Leaks
Leaking gas is hazardous and can be dangerous. If you suspect a gas leak, or you can smell gas the most important thing to do is turn your gas off at your gas meter immediately. Open all windows and doors to allow fresh air to circulate throughout your home and turn off appliances and pilot lights. Gas is highly flammable so if you suspect a gas leak, do not smoke, light matches, lighters or candles. Do not switch power switches on or off or use electrical equipment. And if possible stay outside your home.

Burst Pipe
